Quick Picks: HOLIDAY INSPIRATION – Small Holiday Parks!

We aim to accommodate everyone at the Best of British Holiday Parks Group. All parks are different, that’s our ‘unique selling point’ – along with the fact our parks are all 5 star rated and family owned.

We’d like to introduce you to some of our smallest caravan and camping parks, which offer intimate settings, beautiful pitches and often a quieter experience than larger sites. Here is a mixture of adult only and family/child friendly holiday parks to consider if you’re looking for somewhere a little smaller.

1. Parkland Caravan and Camping, Devon

Set on 3 acres, there are 38 touring pitches and space for 16 tents. Just for adults, you’ll be staying in mature, landscaped grounds. It’s perfect for exploring Salcombe and the South West Coast Path.

2. Long Acres Touring Park, Lincolnshire

With 40 pitches, and space for 5 tents, Long Acres is a rural retreat surrounded by Fenland countryside. Designed in an ‘avenue’ format, you’ll be assured of privacy at this adult only site.

3. Townsend Touring & Camping, Herefordshire

Hidden in a natural dip and set within 12 acres, Townsend provides an excellent base for exploring life in Hereford and the Wye Valley. The earth sheltered lodges are unique to the park, you may prefer one over a touring or camping pitch!

4. Concierge Camping, West Sussex

There are 27 touring pitches and space for 4 tents, all in individual enclosed grassed areas. Concierge is well known for its unique 5 star service. The park is ideal for visiting local award winning beaches.

5. Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park, Somerset

This is a uniquely peaceful (adult only) park based on a garden theme, with pitches set amongst lawns and flower beds. There are 45 touring pitches, 8 tent pitches and is set in 4 beautiful acres.

6. Woodovis Park, Devon

Woodovis Holiday Park in Devon is a small, family run park, ideally located for great camping, glamping and caravan holidays near Tavistock. It’s set on 14 acres, with 50 touring pitches, 50 tent pitches… and a swimming pool!
