Woodovis Holiday Park in Devon is a small, family run Park, ideally located for great camping, glamping and caravan holidays near Tavistock. It is on the border of Devon and Cornwall which makes it a perfect base to explore the West Country.

It is a tranquil haven with excellent facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool and infrared therapy sauna.

Just got back from our visit. Lovely clean site with great facilities. We had a super pitch , nice and level. Great dog walk on site . Very peaceful and relaxing . My only slight criticism would be main toilet block which housed showers were quite a walk from our pitch. There was a toilet closer but only 1. The shop had a good selection of items where you can preorder bread which was delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this wonderful site.

We stayed here as a family with 1 primary school and 1 secondary school age children and we'd booked it through Hoseasons. We booked last minute so our caravan was a bit too small for us at 28' by 10' and was a bit tired looking although it was very clean. However that was the only negative, the park it's self was very clean and well laid out and the BEST thing was that they generate all their own power with a solar farm. There was a beautiful indoor pool with a separate whirlpool tub and a sauna, a play park for younger kids, a games room with free WiFi for older kids, a shop, a launderette and visiting caterers like the wood fired pizza man, a hog roast and a horse box bar! There were also things for the kids like a circus skills and archery experience and a couple of electric bikes to hire. Fabulous for dogs as there was a little wood leading to an enclosed dog exercise field. Dog wash and poo bags were also available free of charge. My husband was very happy as there was an electric car charger which was free to use although there was some competition to use it but if everyone is sensible it's not a problem. A lovely park overall. Perhaps not masses to do in the vicinity and a good hour plus to the sea side but we found enough to do for a week.

We spent 4 nights in total trying out a VW campervan. Great little find as the facilitates there are superb. Excellent pitches on offer, grass or hard standing with electric hook up. Loved the pizza oven,and microwave offered for campers to use, clean well equipped shower block and washing up/laundry room. All this for a very reasonable rate but we were amazed that included in the price was the use of an indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna! Very dog friendly too with enclosed field and doggy spa if your 4 legged friend gets dirty. Staff are friendly and helpful so we will definitely be back next year.
