The wealth of trees and mature hedgerows means that birds and other wildlife are in abundance at Old Oaks and you can even borrow a bird feeder for free, so that you can watch everything up close.
Alongside the 88 touring pitches is a range of glamping accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. Choose from one of 6 glamping pods, 2 luxury shepherd huts or 4 mini cedar lodges. One shepherd and one lodge is equipped with a private hot tub; perfect for relaxing and star gazing at the end of a hard day’s holidaying!
There’s a very well stocked shop with extensive range local produce, souvenirs, camping and caravanning equipment and their infamous home-made cake!
For the angler, there’s a half acre fishing lake, with carp, tench, bream and chub. If fishing’s not your bag, the lake, with it’s view towards Glastonbury Tor, is an idyllic spot for wildlife watching.

David MooneyThis was our second visit and we have booked for next year already. This is a wonderful site. There is everything you could want without going outside. You can walk to Glastonbury or the Tor. We caught a bus to Wells. The on site facilities are hotel quality, a bit like having an ensuite! Photo is Gog and Magog, ancient oaks right by the site.
MotherHenWe booked this site last minute and the booking process was very easy. We arrived later than expected but that was not a problem and we were greeted by a cheery chap who helped us through the security gates and showed us our pitch. The site was immaculately clean and tidy and obviously loved and well respected by everyone. The showers and washimg facilities are first class and better than our recently-refurbished bathroom at home! This is the first time we have stay on a site in anything other than a tent and the difference in clientele was also obvious. Everyone was so friendly and polite adn we will definitely be back.
janephilip82When we arrived we were greeted by a nice gentleman who showed us to our hut. It was beautiful. Exactly as it looked on the website. It was fresh and clean and so cute. The site is just below the Tor. A perfect spot, with the site beautifully kept. Daisy dog had her little legs walked off around the site. The take away service was great. We had a wonderful stay.
