Cheddar Gorge

Cheddar Gorge has become a very popular tourist destination with inclusion of caves and other attractions. The two main caves open to the public are on the south side of the Gorge, owned by Longleat Estate. The extensive Gough’s Cave and the smaller Cox’s Cave are both named after their respective discoverers.  

The Cox’s cave has been turned into “Dreamhunters”, a multimedia walk-through experience with theatrical lighting and video projection. Perfect for families with kids of all ages.   

There is a wide range of activities available at the Cheddar Gorge. Some of the activities include rock climbing, escape room, cave exploring, gorge museum and more.
