Take in the spectacular sweeping views leading down to the elegant baroque country house built in two stages between 1692 and 1704 for King William III’s Secretary of State, William Blathwayt. Learn about the Blathwayt family, see the collection of artwork, ceramics and furniture. Explore the gardens. No visit would be complete without spotting some of the 200-strong herd of wild fallow deer that roam the estate. There are two play areas and fun events throughout the year for younger visitors.
