After the much anticipated visit from the happy memories my wife told me she had here as a child... we visited as a family! I must say it was the best site I have ever been to! Everything better than I was expecting!! Lovely to meet John and Dorothy such a kind and friendly welcome and even throughout the full week! We look forward to booking many more family holidays here in the future! Thank you!

Could well be the best site I have ever visited. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and well managed - the showers always had plenty of hot water, lovely touch of luxury soap and hand cream supplied, always clean. The pitch was large, well spaced and level. Although on gravel (an all weather pitch), a thick groundsheet was provided to protect the tent. We were grateful for the gravel on the one wet morning! Great indoor pool, spa and sauna. The site is in the most beautiful setting, surrounded by fields of sheep, perfectly quiet and peaceful. It is truly dog friendly, with a woodland walk and meadow where dogs can play off lead, and lots of free poo bags supplied. Can't fault it - go!

We spent 10 days in September on this lovely site with our caravan it is one of the best places we have camped on.Everyone was so friendly and helpful from our reception on arrival and throughout our stay.We considered the toilets and showers to be the best we had used ..always immaculate. The washing machines and dryers were the best we have ever used. We are looking forward to returning with our grandchildren we know they will love it there.

We have just returned from having a wonderful break at Woodovis, the last one being 20 years ago and I'm more than certain that we won't be leaving it so long until our next visit! The wardens couldn't do enough to make our stay more pleasant, from the moment we arrived and until we left the site totally relaxed. We have been on numerous sites but none are a patch on this site, you can see these wardens love doing their jobs, the site is spotlessly clean, well thought out and has loads of personal touches. Well done guys, keep up the good work. See you again.

Superb and immaculate facilities catering for everyone including kids and dogs without compromising quality for singles and couples. Helpful friendly staff and freshly baked croissants for breakfast! Will definitely be returning with our tent, or maybe we will try one of their glamping options!

We've just stayed three nights in our own caravan at Woodovis. It's first time we've been but it certainly won't be the last. From the warm and friendly welcome to the wide range of spotless and excellently maintained facilities it was a joy from start to finish. My little girl got given a certificate for achieving a first for her in the pool and it was presented with a fanfare and a handshake. Simply lovely and she was chuffed to little mint balls. The pool and sauna facilities are great, the showers are spotless and the shop has a great range of stuff (the tomato and smoked garlic ketchup is lush) Were already planning when we can return. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Picked Woodavis on the back of other reviews and not disappointed! Beautifully kept site, great facilities and fantastic staff. Try the spa sauna it does wonders for your back. Our four legged companions loved the dog walk and field where they ran free. Loved hearing the birds especially the Owls at night Looking forward to returning soon!

Impeccable caravan, better than any cottage I have recently rented. Full heating and kitchen and felt brand new. We had such a lovely holiday here. Great indoor pool, such a bonus on wet days. Really lovely childrens playground. Great little shop and real treat having fish and chip can to visit. By far the best campsite I have ever stayed on. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff too.

This is a little gem of a site. Not too big or commercial. Lots of attention to details, staff all friendly. Spotless too, clean toilets and showers. Loved all the ideas they had to keep little ones entertained too - story tellers and circus skills workshops!

Just returned from a quick family weekend break staying in a super pod. Was hoping for a sunny weekend but this wasn't to be, however Woodovis more than made up for this. Extremely welcoming, friendly staff on arrival which was the same throughout our stay. Great with children, making them feel welcome too. They loved the swimming certificates they earnt, a simple thing but something they will keep and remember. Lovely facilities, very clean, modern and well looked after. Had a lovely meal at the Blacksmiths nearby as recommended by one of the staff. Can't think of a single thing that could be improved. Will definately be returning.

Stunning location and the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly from first contact to departure. Highly recommend and very tranquil, great stopover point for venturing into Cornwall. Great facilities and the indoor pool was very welcome after a day of cycling and lots of sore legs. Pub up the road also very welcoming and great selection of homemade food.

This well kept site is beautifully landscaped surrounded by lovely Devon countryside. It is also within easy reach of Cornwall. The facilities and amenities are efficient and well maintained and all of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. We enjoy using the indoor pool, outdoor table tennis and boules but appreciate the peacefulness of the park. Thoroughly recommend.

We were bought a virgin experience voucher for here for 2 nights in the camping pod. Booking was easy and straight forward. We arrived and checked in with a very friendly bloke who showed us all around the place. The facilities were amazing...a heated swimming pool with hot tub and sauna, a games room with fussball, pool, air hockey and then table tennis and boules outside. We used the pool everyday and it was nice a quiet each time (which is how we like it) grounds are very clean and tidy and it wad noted that this place is very accessible for disabled people in all areas. We will definately return however would be looking to upgrade from the camping pod to something more luxurious next time.

This site and it's staff are inseparable they make the warm welcoming atmosphere and create a site environment that demands nothing of you, it's just instantly easy and right. We use the caravan and camping sites as the minimum basis for a sites facilities and professionalism, this site and it's staff exceed this. An excellent site! When you get it right it's just perfect!

Once again we have stayed at Woodovis Park and, as always, we extended our stay as its quite hard to leave it! The size of the site is big enough to have atmosphere, it attracts (in the main) like minded people both with and without families, the swimming pool is first class as is the Spa and sauna. Very friendly staff help with anything, they will also have fresh bread and eggs ready from the farm in the morning... this time they excelled themselves with a wonderful eater Egg Hunt for the kids within their own woods. Highly recommended.

We have just had a 2 night stay at Woodovis and we have enjoyed every minute. We were throughly welcomed and shown around the site on our arrival, the shop on site was very useful and the showers/toilets were always clean and tidy. Our pitch was large and enabled us to have some privacy even though there were other tents close by. Woodovis is ideally situated and the owners were very helpful in suggesting different places to get out and about to see which is so helpful when you're not from the area. Will certainly visit again, thank you! Perfect
