Clippesby Hall, Great Yarmouth
Clippesby Hall, one of our Norfolk holiday parks, has two shepherd’s huts and is the perfect destination for a glamping holiday in the UK. One of the shepherd huts sleeps two people (with en suite), ideal for a romantic short break and the other sleeps four. The four bed contains a double bed and bunk beds, which the children will love! The interiors are finished to a high standard and well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Inside there are beautiful soft furnishings, a fridge for essentials, lighting provided by a solar panel and a radio. There’s also a wood burning stove, which creates a cosy atmosphere and the perfect setting to relax and unwind whatever the weather.
A bespoke private cooking shelter is provided adjacent to the hut, so you can cook up a storm during your extended holiday or short break. Dine in the comfort of your woodland retreat or alfresco if the weather allows. A shower block, drinking water tap, washing up facilities and launderette are only a short walk away.

The Old Oaks Touring Park, Glastonbury
Based in Somserset, The Old Oaks has a fabulous selection of glamping options on offer. The hand-built shepherd huts are unique, compact and cosy and the perfect base to explore nearby towns and villages during your stay. The shepherd huts come fully equipped with just about everything you’d need for the perfect self-catering stay. Best of all, has a shower room with toilet and basin so you won’t have to make late night visits to the amenity block! One even has a hot tub – outside of course, so you can enjoy romantic evenings under the stars with a glass of bubbly in hand.
Although the huts are self contained, they are also a few steps away from one of two fully equipped amenities blocks, home to 3 luxury wet rooms and a full vanity area. Laundry, a fridge/freezer and washing up facilities are a stone’s throw away from the huts. Free premium WiFi is also provided. Bedding is included but you’ll need to bring your own towels. This has to be the most luxurious glamping option available! In our opinion, The Old Oaks Touring Park has some of the best shepherds huts in Somerset!
South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park, Poole
Situated in beautiful Dorset, South Lytchett Manor is hugely popular for tourists wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast. The beautiful shepherd huts were handcrafted on site by South Lytchett’s own staff with UK sourced materials. They have underfloor heating to ensure you stay nice and cosy if you decide to visit in the autumn or winter. They feature a full size double and two single beds, perfect for two adults and two children. There’s also a TV and DVD player, refrigerator coffee machine, toaster, two ring electric hob, hob kettle, LED lighting and sockets with USB points. Award winning amenities are just a short walk away.
Remember though, this is glamping, Dorset style! As such, you will need to bring some items with you such as bedding, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, a tin opener, washing up bowl and basic kitchen essentials. A shop on site provides basic food items and camping equipment should you forget anything.
Oakdown Touring and Holiday Home Park, Devon
Oakdown is a park perfectly placed for exploring the South West and considered one of the best touring parks in Devon. Nestled in the Glamping Grove, you’ll find two characterful shepherd huts finished to a very high standard and fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. Both include a TV and DVD player, sofa, electric fire, a double bed, mood lighting, a breakfast bar, a fridge, toaster and kettle. A microwave is available on request. They sleep a family of four, have a patio area complete with BBQ so you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining in the Devon sunshine. Bedding is included but you’ll need to bring towels and the usual camping equipment and accessories. The huts are fully insulated and double glazed.
The amenities blocks are nearby, where you’ll find the toilets. A water point and sink are also close by. The shepherd huts at Oakdown are perfectly suited for make a wonderful glamping break in Devon.
