All our parks are set in idyllic coastal and countryside locations across England, Scotland and Wales and boast high quality accommodation, 5 star facilities and excellent customer service.
Here we share just some of the reasons why Best of British Touring and Holiday Parks are the best in the UK.
1. The Best… of British!
Highlands End Holiday Park – Dorset
The Best of British group comprises of more than 50 caravan and camping sites set in idyllic locations across the UK. Each park is hand picked and goes through a rigorous quality check to ensure they meet our high standards of membership. Member parks must be privately owned, family run and independently rated 5 star. Park owners must be committed to providing the highest standards of customer service and offer top quality facilities and amenities.
Best of British is run by a voluntary Board of Directors, each of whom is a Best of British park owner themselves. We endeavour to provide a wide range of parks to ensure there's something for everyone, including adults only, family friendly and dogs welcome holiday parks.
2. Five Star Rated Accommodation
Plassey Leisure Park – Wrexham, Wales
Whether you're looking to book a touring, camping, lodge or glamping break at a Best of British park, you can be assured of top notch accommodation and facilities. Our parks holiday accommodation has been graded as 5 star by either Visit Britain, a local Tourist Board scheme, or the park will have received an exceptionally high grading from the AA scheme.
3. Family Run and Independent
The team at Trethem Mill – Cornwall
All of the parks within the Best of British Touring & Holiday Parks group are privately owned and independent. This means they can all implement their own high quality offering and maintain an individual non-corporate feel. We find many of our parks have been owned by various generations of the same family and their quality standards are continued through the line of succession. You'll receive a warm welcome the moment you arrive on park and a personalised and friendly service throughout your stay.
4. Different by Design
Each of the parks within the Best of British Touring & Holiday Park group is different. There is no standard across the parks, other than providing you with an excellent stay. Here is Blair Castle Caravan Park in Scotland, a wonderful example of the park blending in with the surroundings. The scenery and location makes for a wonderful holiday.
5. Offers High Quality Amenities and Facilities
High quality amenities and facilities are aplenty at the Best of British parks. Take this example at Woodovis Park in Devon. Their new dog wash facility is second to none, meaning you can take your canine companion to one of our dog friendly holiday parks. Many of our parks have on site restaurants, offer various leisure facilities and may even have a private beach. Each park differs, but they all maintain our quality standards.
6. High Standards of Customer Service
All our parks offer high standards of customer service. Here's a great example of Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park in Somerset, where the team will pitch and level your pride and joy. Valet parking at its finest! All the Best of British holiday parks provide customers with that additional special attention in making them welcome on arrival and throughout their stay.
From all of us here at Best of British, we look forward to welcoming you as soon as the Government advise it is safe and appropriate to do so.
