Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park in Somerset is a uniquely peaceful park based on a garden theme, with pitches set amongst lawns, shrubs and flower beds. Our caravan holidays are unforgetable.
The park is within 800 metres of a championship flyfishing lake, the surrounding country park is a haven for bird-watchers and walkers.
All pitches have electric hook-ups, and the toilets and showers have been refurbished to a very high standard, in the style of individual "en suite" units and are heated in the winter. There is a utility room with dish-washing, laundry and ironing facilities.
As well as the touring facilities the park has a luxury cedar lodge, set at the edge of the woodland which is available to hire.
The park is close to Bath with its historic spa and shops, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare are within easy reach and the park is an excellent base for exploring the Mendip Hills and West Country attractions.

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Parks primary concern is the safety & wellbeing of our team & our guests, to help ensure this is achieved we have changed some of our processes and facilities for the duration of the Covid-19 outbreak.
We have introduced a new online check-in system and arrival procedure, which is emailed to guests automatically.
We have introduced a Covid-19 specific cleaning regime throughout the park.
Current advice is that the facilities block can be open. However, due to the increased cleaning regime, there may be queues. We highly recommend that guests use their onboard facilities wherever possible, to reduce demand & their exposure to other guests. We ask all guests to be patient with each other and with our team members.
We have introduced new Covid information signs and hand sanitizer stations throughout the park.
Guests are free to enjoy their van and the area of their pitch. Guests can walk freely on the park and talk to other guests and team members, but must observe the minimum safe social distance at all times.
Some pathways are now one-way.
Reception and our information room will remain closed, but team members can be contacted via phone and help point during office hours. A new "information room" website has been created, which is available for free on our wifi system.
Guests should consider packing sufficient soap, hand gel, gloves, toilet roll, disinfectant, and hand sanitiser, to use in their outfits, in case of local shortages.
Please note that during the current situation, guests cannot meet in large groups or have any visitors on the park.
Some facilities may be unavailable or may operate at a limited capacity to ensure safety.
We have removed some of the decorative items from our facilities & lodges where they are impractical to sanitise.
Government advice is that you should not travel if anyone in your household has Covid symptoms, but please call reception to let us know.
The park may be required to disclose information on guests contact information as park of the governments Covid track & trace initiative.
These measures are being kept under constant government review and may change between now and the end of your stay. Please observe the advice on the park signage, to meet Covid regulations and ensure the safety of both guests and our team.

Definitely a 5 star site. This is a small site - about 45 touring vans covering about 4 acres. It is an adults only site - how lovely !!! The staff are very friendly and constantly working to keep everything looking so good. Arriving at reception - you just leave it to the staff - who take your van , site it and level it for you. There is not a toilet "block" as such but individual bathrooms with showers, hair dryers etc etc.Reception gave us loads on info including a little map that gave 10 good eating places within 10 minutes drive. Didn't get to try all of them as we were only there for four days!! Very good dog walking area with bins, bags and water bowls at each entrance. Chew Valley Lake is within a mile and is a super spot for walking, fishing or such sitting. Definitely will visit again

Nice Quiet Site The Caravan Took To Your Pitch Very Friendly Very Tidy

What a find. The first time we have used BOB. This site really deserved the five star rating. A very welcoming entrace & having the caravan valet parked was super. The site is exceptionally well landscaped and looked after/ The bathrooms were lovely . Our fully serviced pitch was perfect - even had a TV point. Staff always very helpful and friendly. The dog walking area was good and they even provided "poo bags" along with the bins & water. Information provided for the area was good - especially a little map leaflet detailing the 10 best pubs/restaurants within 10 minutes drive. Really useful when you are in a new area. Chew Valley Lake is a nice spot and you are not too far from the coast, Wells, Bath or Cheddar Gorge. Unfortunately the weather was not kind - but we still had a good time. Will definitely visit again. Mrs. Cynthia Huckle
