Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park

Hidden Valley is a beautiful touring caravan and holiday park located in a pretty wooded valley close to North Devon’s pristine beaches.
The golden sandy beach at Woolacombe and The Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, both of which are Blue Flag and Quality Coast Award winners lie just 4 miles away. The park itself boasts spacious pitches, plenty of space to explore (including three childrens' play areas), a gorgeous gurgling stream that runs through the site, and plenty of secluded woodland trails in the surrounding area.
A delightful coffee shop and restaurant overlook Hidden Valley’s lake and beautiful gardens, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty Devon cream tea after a walk in the woodlands. The site shop is fully licensed and well stocked with a wide variety of camping and caravanning essentials, as well as a bounty of local Devon produce.
The facilities at Hidden Valley are second to none, including clean and modern amenity blocks across the site with thermostatically controlled showers, WCs, wash basins, hair dryers, free shaver/electric points, family shower rooms, laundry facilities, covered dishwashing areas, wetsuit washing as well as recycling and refuse points on site.
Hidden Valley is well-situated for public transport, the site has its own bus stop which is served by two different bus routes. It is also well-placed for cycling, the Tarka trail cycle route starts at nearby Braunton and follows the route of the old railway line through some of the county’s most stunning scenery.

Caravan Storage
he location and easy access with a caravan is a plus with this site. Turn off a main road into a wooded valley with a stream running through it and you are aware of the peacefulness of this site and it hits you straight away. The gardens, woodland paths and surroundings are well kept. The facilities for Caravans and camping are first class, pitches are so generous and private most screened by hedges and trees. The camping field is level and also large pitches ideal for families with plenty of space for children to play safely. Among the trees are two play areas with wooden bridges crossing streams, and a Zip wire etc. We have actually sold our touring van as we loved the Wooden Lodges here that we stayed in this year and are going down again in July as we loved them so much. The lodges are spacious and comfortable with all you could need included bed linen etc. The three lodges are staggered making them more private and if you should want to sit out on the large decked area you are not overlooked. The beds are comfortable and Bathroom and shower etc is roomy and all is well presented and clean on arrival. The many windows have views of the woodland that surrounds the Lodges. The owners of this site and their family worked very hard and long hours to make the facilities first class and everyone's stay a Happy relaxed and enjoyable one. They are there for any questions on the area, medical centers, buses, beaches and loads of leaflets are available. The site shop has the basics and there is a Tesco in the next Village. There is a restaurant on site, which overlooks the delightful lake where the resident Ducks gather after a day walking along the paths throughout the Site. We have toured Many sites in Great Britian but for me this is the Best I have been to. Also The beaches are so clean as well, Woolacombe is three miles long with special areas designated for Children, dog lovers and People like me that just love to walk along and paddle in the clean waters and level shore with no big drops for children as they enter the water. Thanks Hidden Valley and I hope I can keep coming back year after year.

Well kept grounds, friendly, helpful staff. Facilities on site we're very clean. Choice of pitch types from standard grass to super pitch. We had a fully serviced, hard standing pitch which was a really good size. You didn't feel as though caravans were all jammed in. Location is perfect for exploring North Devon.
