Again a lovely week at one of the lodges at Fields End, stayed here for a week over Christmas 2015. Enjoyed so much we booked to go again over Christmas 2016. My husband and I stayed at the badger lodge, the lodge has a wood burner which is extremely cosy as we don't have a proper fire at home! Bathroom very stylish and bedroom it quite big. Bed really comfy! Open plan kitchen/lounge area we really liked. Hot tub - superb!! We had our little bichon frise with us which is always a plus for myself as I hate to leave him, there was an enclosed area this year for dogs, little Sam loved it! The only downside to our visits has been the internet! We had to pay for the internet on top of what we paid for the lodge but that's only a small matter! Lovely site to visit, beautiful lakes and walks. Hopefully we'll be visiting again Christmas 2017! Thanks for a lovely stay. Angharad Wyn John

Our 4th visit to this site which has now become our favourite. It is a lovely peaceful setting with excellent very clean facilities and very helpful staff. It is aimed at fishing enthusiasts and although we do not fish, the lakes are a lovely setting to walk our dog or to just sit and enjoy the view. Have already booked our next caravan trip here.

Just lovely! The place to go if you are looking for relaxation with outstanding facilities. The fishing is second to none with plenty of variety on offer from pole to rod, pellet waggler to just having a go to see if you can catch something! Toilet and laundry/washing up facilities are immaculately maintained thanks to the hard work of the two wardens (Ben and Debra). All you can hear is the sound of the birds tweeting and the odd rumble of the fishing trolley wheels on the gravel as they pass by. Well done Charlie and Michelle - the site is maturing and is still as lovely as it was back in 2009 when we first visited. For those who are not caravaners then the lodges are the perfect alternative with their lovely verandas and hot tubs.

We have just returned from a week on this fantastic site, unfortunately we could not have an emu for the first night so a spot of dingle banning was required, did it either us not at all. The pitches are of a generous size and also my favourite all grass, there are however hard standing pitches available.Once the grass had been cut we had to move from our none electric pitch to a pitch with EHU, monster task it was, all of thirty five yards and was completed in less than five minutes. one of the features that we really enjoyed was the off lead dog run, our boy thought it was marvellous . the site is kept in an exceptionally good state of repair, the amenities are spotless and very well laid out, along with piped music 24/7. The welcome from the staff was second to none and all information required was given upon arrival. we did the long walk from the site ( map given at reception ) it is approximately 4.5 miles and can if required take you past one of the local hostelries where excellent food and drink can be had. the sunsets from the site are amazing and not to be missed. Overall I/we would recommend this site to anyone whether a fisherman/woman or not . We will be back to explore the area in more depth. thanks to all the staff there for a most enjoyable weeks break. 5* Ray, Carolyn and the boy Jack (Woof)

Another fantastic stay at Fields End Water. Carol, Clive, Michelle and Alain, were very inviting as usual, We stayed on Pitch 26, which is in the corner leading to the Pool, where i had some great fishing, also this is a lovely pitch with a great view of the bank where the Bunnies play. Once again the site has improved with a dog agility course for those of you with dogs, as well as Astro turf inlays on all of the Grass pitches, I just love the way this site is evolving, i am told that wort is to start over the coming week on a new lake in the adjacent field with lakeside pitches, this should be awesome, well done guys.

We stayed last weekend and was the owners were very welcoming on arrival, the site is well kept and the pitches are a good size and level, Shower/ toilet block spotless and with piped music. Shop has most things that you need at short notice and for the a good stock of fishing items and bait. Campsite quiet as it is adult only. We stayed for the weekend but we would definitely return. Downside, drainage pipe needs to be very long to reach sink as it is situated along side the water tap and electricity We had to use our waste master which defeats the object of having fully service pitch. I think this is not helped by having to park caravan in the middle of the pitch rather than the side. I think this is a minor issue and not one that by buying extra pipe won't solve. Overall a great site.

Stayed here over the bank holiday. What a lovely site from the welcome at reception, the pitch and the fishing . The toilets and showers are very clean and the layout of the showers are very good. We loved the cafe food delivered to the door. The fishing tackle in the shop was very good as was the fishing. We will be back.
