Hidden Valley is a beautiful touring caravan and holiday park located in a pretty wooded valley close to North Devon’s pristine beaches.
The golden sandy beach at Woolacombe and The Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, both of which are Blue Flag and Quality Coast Award winners lie just 4 miles away. The park itself boasts spacious pitches, plenty of space to explore (including three childrens’ play areas), a gorgeous gurgling stream that runs through the site, and plenty of secluded woodland trails in the surrounding area.
A delightful coffee shop and restaurant overlook Hidden Valley’s lake and beautiful gardens, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty Devon cream tea after a walk in the woodlands. The site shop is fully licensed and well stocked with a wide variety of camping and caravanning essentials, as well as a bounty of local Devon produce.
The facilities at Hidden Valley are second to none, including clean and modern amenity blocks across the site with thermostatically controlled showers, WCs, wash basins, hair dryers, free shaver/electric points, family shower rooms, laundry facilities, covered dishwashing areas, wetsuit washing as well as recycling and refuse points on site.
Hidden Valley is well-situated for public transport, the site has its own bus stop which is served by two different bus routes. It is also well-placed for cycling, the Tarka trail cycle route starts at nearby Braunton and follows the route of the old railway line through some of the county’s most stunning scenery.

Great camp site in a great location. Bus route just outside the gates. Very friendly staff. The showers are a bit tired but it didn’t spoil our holiday. Eat in the restaurant 3 times. Sunday lunch was well worth booking
Just arrived home after a 2 week break. Lovely peaceful site, friendly staff and great restaurant. We were in Otters Creek on an Oak pitch - perfect. The site is in a great spot for visiting Ilfracombe and Woolecombe. Loved it so much we have booked for next year. Also shout out to the gorgeous cat in reception!!
Stayed at Hidden Valley for 9 nights in June. Due to traffic arrived late on the Friday but the team could no do enough to help us and ensure we could find our pitch. We had booked a premier pitch and wow we were not disappointed. We put up our tent and settled down for the late evening! Throughout the holiday the team could not do enough for you from Cheryl in reception, bar team, cleaning team and the guys looking after the pitches. Site clean and facilities excellent. Had a Sunday roast in the restaurant and couldn’t fault the food at all. Great location, and yes it is situated next to a buy road but that didn’t spoil anything, it was quieter after 10 and to be honest you got used to it. The site is so convey to get around too We can definitely recommend and have booked 2 more tripes here. Thank you Richard and the hidden valley team… not forgetting Kit-Kat xx
This is our second stay here, absolutely lovely site, second trip as good as the first. The young lady in reception is so helpful even made us a coffee when the restaurant was closed. The Motorhome pitches are very large and i think most are fully serviced. Looking forward to our next visit.
