Clippesby Hall is an independent family run holiday park situated in the Norfolk Broads National Park. Just a short hop to the medieval city of Norwich and the seaside town Great Yarmouth, we’re right at the heart of England’s finest county and perfectly placed to explore the delights of the Norfolk coast with its range of beaches to suit all tastes. The current estate was first owned by the Muskett family, whose family crest adorns the Hall today. Its peaceful woodland grounds and gardens are a haven for wildlife and perfect for a relaxing break away from it all. Our award-winning information centre has a wealth of ideas designed to help you enjoy your stay, including walking, cycling, canoeing and boating, birdwatching and fishing.

We enjoyed a wonderful break in our campervan at Clippesby Hall, staying on an all-weather pitch in the area called The Meadow. We chose this location as it was close to the Basecamp complex with its excellent bathroom facilities (we don’t have a loo or shower in our van.) The pitch was spacious, yet private, with hedging around it, but still open with plenty of sunshine. There are lots of other lovely, shaded, woodland areas to pick from too, should you be there in the height of summer or during a heatwave! Bathroom facilities are superb with individual cubicles containing a toilet, sink, shower, large mirror & best of all, a hairdryer….. Definitely all you need to get ready in luxury! Bathrooms were cleaned frequently by the efficient staff. However, for us, the cherry on the cake of Clippesby is definitely Basecamp - a restaurant/cafe/shop combined, with a friendly vibe, plenty of assorted seating, room to dine or just sit with a coffee, plus plenty of attentive & smiling staff. We ate gourmet pizzas one night (so good!) and also tried local Norfolk wines, various cakes and even returned for liqueurs on a couple of evenings. The Wi-Fi was great in Basecamp & no one minded if you nursed a coffee for an hour or so & caught up on your emails! There’s also sunny outdoor decking & a terrace overlooking the crazy golf for alfresco dining. I have been to Clippesby many times over almost 50 years, both in holiday apartments and camping (it attracts many returning generations!) and I love it every time. The current camping facilities are some of the best we’ve encountered - there’s something for everyone from toddlers to pensioners; outdoor enthusiasts to relaxed readers; families to foodies. I hope to be back again soon - it has my heart!

My friend and I came here for some lunch, I have been before but it was my friend’s first time coming here and she loved it! The homemade pizzas are absolutely delicious, the best in the area! There is a normal menu as well as the pizza menu, so there will be something for everyone. I highly recommend the goats cheese pizza, it’s to die for! The only down side is being a tourist/holiday destination the drinks are quite pricey which is a shame for locals. All in all one of my new favourite places to eat!

This site never disappoints we came when our children were young and now we are bringing 3 generations. Always a friendly welcome from everybody, it is a little piece of heaven,lots for the children to do, bikes to hire, golf, table tennis, and lovely food and drink and icecreams at base camp. Would recommend this site highly well 38 years says it all really doesnt it. We have of course rebooked for next year.

Lovely well kept site. Very large pitches. Very Easy check in. Base camp restaurant was very good and can recommend the nacho’s. Service was very fast and Stephen and Tina were very friendly and amazing they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you
