Dorset Touring, Camping and Glamping Luxury Holiday Parks
Holidays in Dorset are ones to remember. From beautiful beaches to wonderful walks in the stunning countryside. Touring, camping and glamping in Dorset makes for many happy memories.
All the Best of British holiday parks are five star rated, independently assessed as the best of British caravan park and camping accommodation. The ratings are provided by the relevant Tourist Board and the AA grading system. Additionally, all our holiday parks are family/independently owned. This means you’re stepping into an environment of a family team, a friendly group and not a vast chain of parks where everything is the same. Our parks are encouraged to be unique.

Wareham Forest Tourist Park
The name says it all! Wareham Forest Tourist Park is indeed set among the trees in Wareham Forest. And what a stunning location it is! When we shared a post about the park on Facebook a while ago, we received an incredible response from previous visitors and those who had their holidays booked and were eager to get going!
Tony and Sarah Birch are waiting to welcome you at this 55 acre woodland park which is centrally located for exploring the beautiful Jurassic coastline and the Purbeck Hills. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity relaxing on the park, or the walks in the surrounding Wareham Forest and heathland. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle of Poole and Bournemouth or, alternatively, visit nearby Dorchester, Wareham, Weymouth and Swanage. Corfe Castle isn’t far away either.
There is so much to see and do in the area, but there is equally a lot to do on site! The pitches are spacious, level and all have 16 amp electric. There’s a children’s recreation and play area, as well as a heated outdoor pool in high season. The park offers seasonal pitches and storage, with excellent access for large vehicles. Wifi is available throughout the park.
Open all year, this award winning park is ready and waiting to welcome visitors now.
South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park
If the entrance is anything to go by, South Lytchett Manor is a picturesque spot. Situated near Poole and Bournemouth, it is located in the pretty Dorset countryside and is an ideal base for exploring the outstanding local beauty spots, places of historic interest and a wide variety of nearby family attractions. Chapman’s Pool isn’t too far away, and it provides a stunning look at the Jurassic Coast. It’s a steep climb down, and as a result, very quiet even at the height of summer! Otherwise, it’s great for photography from the top if you don’t feel like doing the descent!
Nestled in over 20 acres of tranquil parkland on the former Lytchett Manor estate, this top quality tent, caravan and motorhome park is a firm favourite with many. Superbly maintained and continually improved, South Lytchett Manor has long been a firm favourite with caravanners and campers alike, many of whom return year after year to enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere on this family-run campsite. It is also known as one of the best dog-friendly campsites in Dorset.
If you are looking for glamping options in Dorset, South Lytchett Manor will be a great choice, offering a variety of shepherd huts.
The holiday park is known for its clean and modern facilities, achieving the Platinum Loo of the Year accolade many years in a row. Great examples are the shower rooms, luxurious, heated yet sustainable amenities of the highest standard. The site also offers a wide range of walks through manicured parkland, a two and a half acre mown dog walking field with access to the village pub. There are also dog washing facilities to give your four legged friends a clean after a muddy adventure.
South Lytchett Manor has won multiple awards for the standard of the site, including the overall British Campsite of the Year title in the AA’s 2021 Caravan and Camping Awards!
Highlands End Holiday Park
Highlands End Holiday Park takes pride of place on the clifftop of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, and what a stunning view you’ll have! The South West Coast Path runs past the park, so you’re perfectly positioned to walk to West Bay, which featured in ITV’s Broadchurch.
