Unique Places To Holiday In 2024

Looking for some quick holiday inspiration for the remainder of the year? Look no further! Here’s a quick look at 5 places we suggest you look at for a unique break away this summer and autumn! Whether you enjoy touring, camping, glamping, safari tents or lodge holidays – we think we have something for you… take a look at our choices for 2024…

1. Tanner Farm Park, Kent

Stay in the Garden of England and in the shadows of oast houses when you pitch up at Tanner Farm Park! The South East winner of the AA’s Campsite Of The Year Awards, this picturesque park is set amidst glorious Kent countryside, surrounded by woodland, farmland and apple orchards.

We’d like to introduce you to the camping pods available on site. If you aren’t quite ready to sleep under canvas, camping pods are a perfect alternative option! The pods at Tanner Farm Park are built to the highest standards, are full insulated and keep everyone warm, snug and dry. They sit on a pleasant decking area with a garden table and chairs. A lockable waterproof chest is provided so you can store valuables and holiday clutter. A good compromise between outdoor living and little more shelter than your tent?!

Tanner Farm Park is less than an hour from London and the coast. Whether you like castles, historic houses, woodland, bike trails, steam trains, city living – there is something not far away, for everyone.

2. The Paddocks, Renfrewshire

The Paddocks is one of our newest holiday parks, situated on the Ingliston Estate in Renfreshire, Scotland. It is the perfect base for visiting Lock Lomond, Glasgow and the West Coast of Scotland. The name gives away the fact that it is host to a specialist equestrian centre. Horse riding is available and a play park for smaller guests welcomes younger visitors, but adults are just as welcome to indulge in equestrian activities here.

Open all year round, The Paddocks can accommodate up to 30 motorhomes on hardstanding pitches – each with electrical hook up. So, if you have wanted to indulge your horse riding hobby in rural Scotland, a stay at The Paddocks should be on this year’s ‘to do list’!

3. Auchenlarie Holiday Park, Scotland

Auchenlarie is situated on the beautiful coastline of Dumfries and Galloway, with direct access to a secluded beach, overlooking picturesque Wigstown Bay and only a short drive from the Galloway Hills.

We’ve selected Auchenlarie as a unique accommodation suggestion as this park revolves around… entertainment! From tribute acts to sports events – there is always something happening here! It is a vibrant park, 5 star graded and welcomes both families and dogs. So, if you are looking for a ready made entertainment venue, and you don’t really want to leave the park – head to Auchenlarie!

4. Brighouse Bay Holiday Park, Kircudbright

We have selected another park in Scotland, and this time it’s Brighouse Bay, in a beautiful quiet part of the country. It is pet friendly, family friendly and has its own beach, alongside acres of woodland and farmland. There’s a leisure club with indoor pool, cafe, bar lounge and amusement room. There is a golf course, driving range, mountain bike trails, pump track, pony trekking, putting green and a licensed shop. But, we have selected this spot for the private beach, with the ability to launch your boat from the private slipway.

Accommodation includes spacious touring and tent pitches, holiday lodges, caravans to buy, a farm cottage and glamping pods situated on a lake. Definitely worth trying something new if you don’t want to take your caravan or tent with you!
