Romany caravans are steeped in history and usually highly decorated, intricately carved, brightly painted and sometimes gilded. Traditionally used by British Romanichal Travellers, these horse drawn wagons have become popular at holiday parks as unique glamping accommodation. You'll first be struck by the colour of these vibrant beauties nestled in the park. Painted in shades of red and blue, they are cool in summer, warm and cosy in winter. Each of the romany caravans are fitted to the highest specification, each one hand built by craftsmen. They feature a full size double and two single beds, insulated oak floor and an electric log burner. There’s also a TV and DVD player, refrigerator, sockets with USB points, a two ring electric hob, hob kettle and coffee pod machine. Combine all this with beautiful upholstery and a wooden deck complete with garden furniture, and your Romany Caravans experience is complete.
You will need to bring bedding, crockery, mugs, glasses, a chopping board, cutlery, saucepans, a tin opener, water carrier and washing up bowl etc. Remember, you're still camping, you'll just in be in far more luxurious surroundings!
