This year we are thrilled to welcome two new holiday parks to our Group. As a reminder, all sites are family/independently owned, are 5 star rated (achieving the highest gradings and percentages within the grading criteria) and are all completely unique! We are a not for profit group and our aim is to bring you a choice of independent parks who strive to make your holiday extra special. The Group is 30 years old and many of our members have been with us for decades. Here is the first new member park for 2023!
Parkland Caravan and Camping Site, Devon
We are thrilled to welcome the wonderful Parkland Caravan and Camping Site in South Devon. Ideally situated for exploring, Salcombe and the South West Coast Path are very close by.
A peaceful adult only park, it is open all year so you can enjoy a break there right now! Fully serviced, level pitches are on offer, all set within three acres of mature, landscaped grounds. High quality heated amenities include large showers and baths.
While we proudly offer lots of dog friendly holiday park options, Parkland does not allow dogs and is perfect for anyone who prefers not to holiday with (or near) pets.
The site is ideal for anyone hoping to explore the South Devon coast. The stunning landscape is not far from the park and there are routes available for walkers of all abilities. Quaint villages and seaside towns are within easy reach.
The unique estuary at Salcombe was formed as river cut valleys were flooded by post glacial sea levels. Salcombe is a famous sailing town with stone quaysides and brightly painted buildings. The land forms provide creeks and valleys surrounding villages with thatched cottages and country pubs.
Parkland Caravan and Camping is an AA five gold pennant adults only site, located in the heart of this area of outstanding natural beauty. The site is open all year round, offering fully serviced pitches, including seasonal pitches over three acres of level, mature landscaped grounds, along with glamping and self catering options.
It is surrounded by natural Devon hedgerows, abundant with wildlife, with views towards Salcombe, and the rolling countryside towards Dartmoor. Enjoy the hedgerow flowers of primrose and stitchwort, and the seasonal flower beds, and of course stunning butterflies amongst the buddleia. Watch out for the visiting hedgehogs, the local pheasant and if you’re lucky, the barn owl.
Two heated amenity buildings service the site all with free constant hot water. There are fully tiled ‘hotel style’ washrooms, each with toilet, washbasin and large shower or bath. View more about the facilities here.
