In a night of double celebration they also won Bronze in the Sustainable Tourism Category…. pipped to the post by the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium, who got Silver and Rail Holidays UK who got Gold which is pretty stiff competition.
The awards ceremony was held in the nave of Exeter Cathedral. There were 490 entries, spread across the whole region from the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall in the west to Bournemouth, Dorset and Salisbury in the east, and from Salcombe in the south to Bristol, Bath and Gloucester in the north.
