We stayed for a weekend in one of the pods. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather. The site was wonderful, it was clean and attractive and in 20 years we have never seen such a clean and perfect toilet block. There were plenty of toilets and showers all spotlessly clean. The wardens were friendly and helpful and all in all we had a perfect weekend. The bike trails were very small but our 6 and 7 year old enjoyed them. The shop was nicely stocked with essentials and lovely fresh meat and bread. The village was wonderful and the river walks looked fantastic although we only discovered them as we were leaving!

We had a fantastic time and the owners were very friendly. Site manager made us feel welcome when we arrived on site. The toilet block was by far the best we have had, and we have stayed at a few over the years, even had piped music playing. There was a small but well stocked fishing lake, and the wild fowl were a pleasure to see walking around. There was a very nice take away in Leominister as well as many nice shops. Only there for two nights but will certainly be back again. If there was anything that we could have changed, it would have been for a bit more sunshine.

Probably the nicest campsite we have ever visited. The staff are so helpful, the facilities are beautifully clean, love the radio playing in the loos, the farm shop is excellent, our bbq meat was fabulous and the staff were just amazing. The camping pod was great, if you have teenage children you maybe should up size, the surrouldings were so lovely and peaceful and we just cannot thank you enough for a fabulous holiday. We never visit the same place twice but we will be making an exception in this case. Harry Costello

We have been camping a few times but this was the best place that we have stayed. We stayed in the pods and they were brilliant. The location is beautiful and the facilities were by far the best we've had. We will definitely be back!

We just love coming to this site. It's well thought out, the grass is lush and the pitches are large and spacious. The facilities are first class and the children's play area is well equipped. The area is lovely too and is in easy reach of activities for every weather eventuality!

We loved our stay. We were in a pod, with a fabulous view. My 2 nephews spent all day everyday fishing. The site is kept to a very high standard. The washing up facilities are good. The shower block is good and clean. Useful information board. The shop sells fantastic food. Cannot fault it. Definitely be back next year.

The site was first class, the mixture of tents and touring caravans although unusual didn't cause any problems. All the pitches were spaced at twice the distance you find on other sites, so you weren't on top of your neighbour. There were good facilities for the children, lots of open areas for them to play in and ride their bikes. There was an absence of any sign of dog mess, people were keeping the site clear of this problem - unlike some sites I've been on in the past. There was also a lack of Do's and Don'ts signs - people don't have to be told what to do, they know the right thing to do. I wish the Caravan Club could take a leaf out of this sites book and not be so Gestapo like. All in all we enjoyed our visit, and would almost certainly revisit. Well Done!

Just returned from an enjoyable two night stay at this site over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. My overall opinion is a positive one and we found our hard-standing pitch close to the toilet block spacious. The site is pleasantly landscaped with plenty of room for everyone. We were made to feel welcome by the warden/butcher/fishing advisor and we enjoyed some bacon and sausages from the farm shop. The toilet block was very clean and the showers were of an excellent standard. Pembridge is only a short walk away and is definitely worth a visit - the New Inn serves good beer and is a fascinating building - the village shop/cafe is also worth a look. We ate out at the Salutation, Weobley and found this excellent.

We had a great time on this site; it is our 4th return visit. It is a level green site with plenty of trees. The grass pitches are very spacious, lots more room than many other sites. Having waste water points and clean water taps at each pitch is really handy. The toilet and shower block were super clean and warm and had plenty of hot water. We loved seeing the ducks and rabbits on the site. We cycled from the site every day and were able to find quiet country lanes nearby. The gallery in Pembridge is full of lovely crafty things. The shop in the village is quite a tardis with a good range of stock and the owner is really lovely. I would recommend the horse riding hacks at nearby Bryngwyn Stables, although it is just over the border in Wales it is only 40 minutes drive away, and the scenery is spectacular.

We have camped at many sites over the last 15 years and being quite particular about our requirements which are a a clean, quiet and well run site in nice countryside this one is without doubt one of the best. With the addition of the fishing, very helpful and informative staff we are already planning a return visit.
