This award-winning five-star touring park is set in attractive undulating tree-fringed land close to Shrewsbury town centre and is well situated for visiting Ironbridge and the Welsh Marches.
Getting into nearby Shrewsbury is really easy if you’re staying at Oxon Hall Touring Park, which is part of the larger Morris Leisure Group of sites – there’s a park-and-ride facility right next door. That means you can leave your car or motorhome at the site; you’ll be into the medieval town before you know it.
If you’d prefer to stay at the park, you can make use of the numerous and high-quality facilities which include a heated toilet and shower block, laundry room and vegetable prep room. There is also a well-stocked shop selling both food and caravan accessories.
There are two pubs / restaurants within walking distance as well as a small supermarket.
Dogs are welcome at a maximum of two per pitch.
The park offers a a good selection of both hardtstanding and grass pitches (including some for large American-style RVs or fifth-wheelers) which all come with electricity as standard. Super pitches are also available. Families can take advantage of the children’s play area or for more peace and quiet, can choose to book a pitch in the adults-only section.
