Ian, Jane & Jake are very proud to announce that we have been awarded our third gold award for this year as the holiday park in Cornwall has been named “Caravan & Holiday Park of the Year 2012” at the recent Cornwall Tourism Awards. The ceremony was held at the Headland Hotel, Newquay, and was hosted by Naturalist and TV presenter Nick Baker.
The awards recognise excellence across the travel industry and highlight those who play a pioneering role in helping to maintain and enhance the quality of services that Cornwall has to offer.
The awards process involves a number of mystery shoppers and an extensive judging panel. One of the judges said “when I last visited this site a few years ago I couldn’t believe it could get any better. But it has! An absolute gem!”
The three generations of family that run the Park all bring something different and we are delighted that our continuous hard work, investment and passion has been recognised.
This year we have celebrated 20 years of offering quality touring. Earlier in the year we were delighted to be awarded the AA “Roger Almond Award for Most Improved Park”. Most recently we were again, awarded the David Bellamy gold award for our work towards conservation and sustainability.
