Set on Midsummer Common next the river in the centre of Cambridge, this entirely volunteer run fair has been delighting residents and visitors alike for over 40 years. Strawberry Fair is a musical and performance extravaganza for all the family; complete with a mini film festival and many fascinating community stalls. Enjoy the day for free and help celebrate this vibrant city.

A truly authentic agricultural show, the Lincolnshire Show is a fantastic family friendly day out. As always, highlights include shopping, food, gardening exhibitions, fairground rides, music, farmyard animals, competitions, displays and countryside pursuits. Make a day of it by bringing along a picnic and setting up your camping chairs ring-side to enjoy the nonstop entertainment, from show jumping to stunts.

The largest annual event in Norfolk, the Royal Norfolk Show celebrates the very best of food, farming and the countryside. With livestock and equine competitions and displays on both days, top-class show jumping, over 3000 animals and hundreds of attractions there is plenty of entertainment for all the family.

Every Wednesday evening for six weeks the skies over Great Yarmouth set alight with a stunning summer firework spectacular. The evening starts off with fun and music entertainment from 8pm followed by the firework display starting at 10pm. Over one weekend in July, nature conservation teams will be coming together to one of the largest nature surveys ever done in the area, and they need your help. Come and join in the race against time to record as many species as possible over the two days. No prior knowledge is needed to get involved in fun activities all along the coast from Holme-Next-The-Sea in the east to Salthouse in the west.

Held in the beautiful setting of Cherry Hinton Hall, the Cambridge Fold Festival has a reputation as one of the premier music events in Europe. Blickling Estate is playing host to The National Symphony Orchestra, as they celebrate British music from across the home nations.
