Broadhembury Caravan and Camping Park has teamed up with the designers of the sumptuous Lotus Belle glamping tents to offer stays with savoir faire in the English countryside. The multi-award winning park believes that Lotus Belle represents the latest stage in the evolution of glamping with their comfortable and stylish holiday retreats.

The eye catching tents sleep up to four people, and provide a generous living area, heating, lighting, and full-size beds with duvets and pillows provided. There are also barbecues and stoves in some models, and it’s even possible to have a full continental breakfast delivered freshly to the tent door every morning.

With prices from only £40.00 per night, the pods are already proving popular with couples and families seeking a rural Kent holiday with the accent of pampering. The park says they are also likely to appeal to people wanting to stay in countryside surroundings when they visit London, and to swap sirens for the sound of silence as they sleep.

Despite its hideaway location in the quiet village of Kingsnorth, Broadhembury is just over half-an-hour’s train journey into central London from nearby Ashford.

Sally Taylor and her partner Lee Stone are the second generation of Sally’s family to run the park which first started welcoming guests almost 50 years ago. According to Sally, Broadhembury has long been a favourite, with guests wanting to spend time exploring Kent’s surrounding countryside and its many attractions and nearby beaches.

The park already provides pitches for campers and the owners of touring caravans and motorhomes, as well as caravan holiday homes for hire. Now, she says, the popularity of glamping has persuaded the family to invest in some of the most stunningly designed and delightfully appointed units on the market:

“Almost everyone loves the notion of camping, but the realities of erecting a tent and packing it away afterwards can take the edge off the experience for some people,” she said.

“Glamping neatly sidesteps this problem, but still provide that wonderful sense of being out there in nature and coming closer to the sights and sounds of the countryside. The concept is all about light and airy living in charmingly designed holiday accommodation, which is guaranteed to add a sense of occasion to any stay,” added Sally.

Even in high summer, two people will pay just £60.00 per night for their glamping experience, plus an extra £10.00 per head for up to two children.

As well as a maximum five-star grading from VisitEngland, Broadhembury has won a host of other awards for the quality of its surroundings and hospitality. It is also a member of the prestigious Best of British group of family owned parks which provide assured high standards for guests seeking first-class holiday experiences.
