The muti-award winning South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park in Dorset has done it again by winning the Top 100 Sites Guide award for Best Site for Motorhomes in the UK. The Best of British park was also ranked 4th for caravans and 7th for camping as well as being named as the regional winner for holiday parks in Dorset!
Practical Caravan describes South Lytchett Manor as a "truly is a superb campsite… The park is run as a family venture, and the attention to detail here is impressive: whether you’ve arrived with a caravan, camper or tent, you’ll find the welcome warm and the facilities top-notch."
The glowing review continued to say that "a motorhome service point is available, and music is piped into the spotless washrooms. Children are catered for with treasure hunts during the main season, and there’s even a 2.5-acre dog-walking field. If you do decide to head off site for the day, you can easily explore the local area thanks to the two bus routes that stop by the main gate. From there, you can get to Swanage, Poole, Weymouth and more."
The park just outside Poole is run by the Bridgen family. Jo, Dave and their son Matt Bridgen have now been running the site for almost 10 years. Jo commented, “We’ve been so delighted to win all these awards and it’s always fantastic to be chosen for an award by the people who have actually stayed here. We get so much out of hearing that people have enjoyed their time with us and it spurs us on to build in more new improvements with every year that passes.”
