The owners of Swiss Farm are in the middle of the last stage of their 6 year £1.8 million refurbishment project, which has included doubling the available power supply to cater for the increasing electricity needs of visitors.
The park has also just upgraded 24 super pitches and ordered the second new lakeside glamping lodge for short breaks and holidays. In addition, a £35,000 WiFi network for free guest access using fibre optics is about to be installed.
A new adventure playground will be ready for May Half term and, subject to planning permission, a new cafe kitchen should be ready for the summer due to the growing success of the cafe and coffee shop.
Future plans include the installation of a new security barrier system and CCTV for added guest safety, landscaping of the tenting area to include new deluxe camping pitches with private water tap, electricity and a picnic bench.
