Highlands End Holiday Park has won gold in the Holiday Park of the Year category at the Dorset Tourism Awards on Thursday 17th October 2019.
The awards were held at The Tank Museum and a record 78 trophies were presented to businesses across the county. Winners went through one of the country’s most rigorous judging processes involved entry forms, judging visits and ending with a decision from an independent panel. The park will now go through to the South West Tourism Awards so fingers crossed for that!
Group Manager and family member James Cox said, “We are delighted to have won gold in the Holiday Park of the Year category, especially after going so close with a silver award in 2018. It’s a fitting reward for all the hard work put in by our team over the last 12 months, in helping to provide memorable holidays and experiences for more than 20,000 people during 2019. We appreciate that we have such a fantastic location on the Jurassic Coast clifftop and the great feedback we receive from our holidaymakers, often say it’s the family values of the business, range of quality facilities, our friendly team and our involvement in the local community that sets us apart from our competitors.”
“We’re looking forward to an even better year in 2020 satisfying the requirements of our holiday customers and the local community who visit Martin’s Bar & Restaurant and are members of Highlands End Leisure Club and we will be looking forward to how we can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the family owning Highlands End Holiday Park in 2021.”
