Hendra Holiday Park were awarded the prestigious Winner of Winners trophy alongside Golds for Sustainable Tourism, Gold for Holiday Parks, and a silver for Caravan & Camping at the Cornwall Tourism Awards which took place on 3rd November. In a year which also saw Gold awards for their 5 Star rating and AA 5 Pennant grading and a Gold for South West in Bloom, the park near Newquay in Cornwall is closing the 2016 season in style.
Jon Hyatt, director said ‘Needless to say we are more than delighted with winning two golds and a silver, and then the Winner of Winner award! These awards are a massive boost for us as we look forward to celebrating 45 years in business in 2017. As the largest holiday park in Cornwall, accommodating around four thousand guests a night in peak season, we have to work incredibly hard to make sure all our services and amenities are delivered at five-star level every single day. Without the dedication of every member of Hendra’s staff we could not achieve this so this is a magnificent reward for all the hard work all the teams at Hendra have put in to deliver the best holiday experience possible to guests.
The park is now closed until next Easter but work continues with a winter programme of upgrades including the arrival of sixty new static caravans.
