You wont have to travel far to indulge in a spot of coarse fishing when camping or caravanning this year, as many of our Best of British parks have a lake onsite. What could be better than waking up and heading straight to the bank knowing you have the luxury of the holiday parks facilities close by!

 

There are nine fishing lakes at Eye Kettleby Lakes, each providing something different. They are stocked with a variety of species, including roach, tench, bream and specimen carp to 30lb. The majority of the lakes are situated on the edge of the park, providing a quiet and peaceful place to escape and unwind and concentrate on a day of fishing. Kingfisher Lake boasts swims right on the doorstep of Eye Kettleby Lakes luxury lodges, enabling an exclusive fishing experience! It is also possible to book a fishing lesson to help hone your skills.

Beaconsfield Holiday Park has its own ponds stocked with carp, roach and bream. They are well situated close to the parks facilities and provide lots of fun for the experienced or novice angler. 

 

Take your pick of five lakes at Plassey Holiday Park. With plenty of small roach and carp ranging between one and two pounds, this is the perfect place for children to try something new and get a taste of the great outdoors!

Sit back and relax as you wait for a bite at Swiss Farm's private lake! The lakes is stocked with a variety of species including ghost carp and beautiful koi carp hybrids. Set under mature trees and established reed beds, this is also a wonderful place to look for wildlife and numerous species of birds.

Riverside Caravan Park is the perfect place to stay for any avid coarse angler. There are two options to try depending on your preference, either river or lake fishing. Enjoy a day spent on the banks of the River Wenning fishing for salmon, brown trout and sea trout or escape to one of 12 pegs spread along the lake and try your hand at catching roach, rudd or carp.

Spend quality family time together during your stay at the Old Brick Kilns catching bream, rudd or carp. Purchase either a day or week ticket and spend as much or as little as your holiday as you would like trying to catch a big one!

While away the hours at The Old Oaks onsite fishing lake with views of Glastonbury tour. Just a short walk from the sites pitches this half-acre site is exclusive to touring park guests and has recently been stocked with 400 new fish ready for the coming season. Throughout the year the park hosts a number of fishing competitions, where you can win a mid week break at Old Oaks!

Townsend has 21 pegs spread around the well-stocked lake, which is one acre in size. Set on the campsite itself, the fishery varies in depth and is a popular pole fishing venue.

You can fish Wooda Farm's well stocked pond between dawn and dusk, in the hope of catching common carp and mirror carp to 16llb. There is also the possibility of catching tench. 

Guests at Poston Mill can enjoy fishing in the River Dore from the holiday parks bank or from within the river itself. The river is home to beautiful small brown trout, which can be caught on a catch and release basis.

 

Fields End is the perfect location for a fishing holiday, well suited to beginners and experienced anglers. There are two sites, 'The Pit' and 'The Pool', which are stocked with carp to 27lb, roach, perch, tench as well as other species. 'The Pit' has an on site bait shop, perfect for stocking up on anything you have left at home as well as a unisex toilet and refreshments.

Green Hill Farm boasts two well stocked lakes, one of which is in the adult only area. They are situated next to woodland and contain a range of species, including rudd, tench, roach, koi as well as mirror, common and ghost carp.
