Slimbridge Wetland Centre was the first Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) to be opened, on the 10th of November 1946, due to the vision of Sir Peter Scott.

From birdwatchers to families there is plenty to discover all year round. Enjoy amazing wildlife up-close. With experiences to suit all ages offering access to a huge variety of wildlife, it is no surprise we are an award-winning day out!
