Scotney Castle
Tunbridge Wells, KentThe gardens have planting themes which flow naturally using rhododendrons and azaleas. These create a wonderful colour display during the spring and also reflect in the water of the moated Old Castle at its centre.
The house at Scotney Castle was built in 1837 by Edward Hussey III from the sandstone quarried from the grounds of the Old Castle. It is positioned to overlook both the castle and estate, with the garden also designed and created at the same time.
