Truro, CornwallThe collections on display date back to Stone Age Cornwall and include a vast array of artifacts including decorative and fine art as well as rare books, manuscripts and paintings. There are permanent displays showcasing Greek, Roman and Egyptian artifacts. The jewel in the museums crown is it’s mineral collection, which is internationally renowned and offers an insight into the counties mining history.
As well as exhibits, the Royal Cornwall Museum also boasts an impressive events calendar, which includes lecture series, theatrical performances, educational performances as well as fun family activities.
