Dolbeare Park

Dolbeare Park, Landrake, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 5AF

Dolbeare Park in Cornwall is a multi-award winning park that is open all year and near to the beautiful beaches of Whitsand Bay, Seaton, Portwrinkle and Looe and only 20 minutes from historical Plymouth.

Dolbeare Park has won numerous awards with the most recent being a Silver Award at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards for Caravan and Camping Park of the Year 2018.  They also won a Silver Award at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in November 2017.

The park is situated in beautiful countryside providing a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere - advantageously positioned just one mile from the A38 (up and over the hill so no road noise).

There is a children’s adventure play area and a separate ball area for footy, Easter finds the park organising the Easter Bunny Hunt, colouring competitions and the summer finds them playing rounders, organising footy, chess tournaments and enjoying BBQ's,

Touring pitches are on hardstanding and are large spacious grass pitches for tents. If you fancy a bit more luxurious camping, you could try glamping in their lovely lotus belle tents - real luxury camping!

They have an award winning amenity block, a lovely nature trail that children love exploring and they welcome well behaved dogs and have a small dog walk on site, with miles of dog walking off site.

All the beaches close to the park, except Looe, are all dog friendly all year.  Seaton also has a lovely cafe on the beach and its open all year except Christmas Day!

Dolbeare Park is perfectly located near the South East Cornwall/Devon border. Exploring just couldn’t be easier! Historic Plymouth with the delightful Barbican, Hoe and Waterfront, the forgotten corner of the Rame Peninsula with its superb beaches at Whitsand Bay, the Tamar Valley with Looe and Polperro, just a short drive away.

There are many lovely NT properties nearby to enjoy that include Cotehele, Antony, Saltram House and the delightful Lanhydrock.  The gardens are all fabulous and at Lanhydrock they also have a new off road cycling track to enjoy.

If you love fun and serious adventure, then south east Cornwall is renowned for it, from zip wires to canyoning, canoeing to tree jumping and some serious off-road cycling for the beginner and the advanced cyclist, you would be surprised what else this beautiful area has in store apart from it's great beaches.

  • Our first stay at Dolbeare Park for a planned 2 night stay & we were delighted. The extremely helpful hosts, Ian & Chris, explained everything that we would need to make our stay enjoyable. The facilities were spotlessly clean from the immaculate toilet/shower block with hair dryer, the towel drying cupboard, the all weather washing up facility & the 'essentials shop'. The grounds were well cared for & it was so refreshing to encounter the facilities for the wildlife from bird/bee boxes, nature walk & 'help yourself to herbs' ! A must visit site & we would highly recommend it. See you soon & thankyou for your hospitality.
