Guests at Beverley Holidays in Paignton are in for a tasty treat this season following the opening of its newly refurbished Jetty Lounge, Bar & Terrace, serving up a sleek restaurant setting with stunning sea views on the side.
Following a six figure investment totalling £250,000, the Paignton holiday park group has transformed its former Upperdeck Restaurant, Bar & Terrace into a stylish new space masterminded by leading South West design agency Fruition.
Re-opening this month under the new name of Jetty Lounge, Bar & Terrace, the eatery boasts an ultra-stylish feel complete with quirky pendant lighting, banquette booth seating and full-height windows framing views of the English Riviera coastline.
A dramatic slate feature wall acts as a striking backdrop to a huge granite-top bar where guests can quench their thirst with top local tipples from Bays Brewery and Tolchards, to name a few, plus free WiFi and USB charging points throughout.
To compliment the stunning transformation, a new and improved menu has been introduced for 2017 comprising of locally sourced ingredients which will satisfy the taste buds of holidaymakers looking to indulge in a true taste of Devon.
Beverley Holidays’ Facilities, Food & Beverage Manager, Gary Furneaux, said: “Our vision for the Jetty Lounge, Bar & Terrace was to create a stylish space where our guests can tuck into the finest local ingredients while soaking up some of the best sea views in Torbay.
“The feedback so far has been amazing and the refurbishment of the restaurant, coupled with all the other investments we have made in our group of holiday parks for 2017, mean we are well placed when it comes to offering the very best holiday experience.”
The transformation of the Jetty Lounge, Bar & Terrace is just one of many exciting new changes unveiled at the family run holiday parks for 2017, with other major areas of investment including a newly refurbished Reception area and revamped entertainment programme.
Furthermore, Beverley Holidays has also invested more than £1million in a state-of-the-art fleet of ‘glaravans’ complete with their very own private bubbling hot tub, plus a range of dog-friendly holiday caravans for those wishing to stay with their four-legged friends.
