Hendra Holiday Park raises a huge £2,711 for Cornwall's Air Ambulance Service

A huge £2,711 was raised for Cornwall’s Air Ambulance by Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay, Cornwall during the 2014 season and was presented at the Cornwall Air Ambulance station to Becky Wise, Fundraising Officer for Cornwall Air Ambulance, by Hendra staff - Robert May, Jon Hyatt, Janine Hyatt, Rebecca May, Bob Hyatt and Matt Way.

Janine Hyatt, director, said ‘Everyone at Hendra makes a big effort every year to raise funds for a chosen charity.  Money is raised from events, raffles, voluntary donations from guests and from our supermarket partner J J Wilson Ltd.

The Air Ambulance is an essential service for Cornwall and we are proud to support it.  Hendra is currently getting ready for the 2015 holiday season with excellent levels of advance booking for accommodation, so we are busy planning our fund raising efforts for our 2015 chosen charity Help for Heroes.’

Becky Wise, Fundraising Officer, said: “Hendra have been so inventive in how they’ve fundraised over the past year and the owners, their staff and visitors have really come out in force to support Cornwall’s Air Ambulance. Their support will help us ensure we are there for those who need us – young or old, visitor or local.”
