The 19th of April see’s Newquay surf-lifesaver champion Jasmine Mann, starting her 2015 season with the British Youth Lifesaving Pool Championships, at Millfield. The beginning of a busy schedule of competitions, where Jasmine now has her own brand new Surf Ski sponsored by Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay.

Jasmine has been an activate member of Newquay Surf Life Saving Club since the age of seven, learning the basics elements of safety and lifesaving skills enhancing them further into the competition environment competing at the Cornish and National life saving championships annually.

Hendra sponsors many local and regional sports activities and charities but the connection between the Mann family and Hendra is no co-incidence as Jasmine’s mother Lisa used to look after Director Jonathan Hyatt and his brothers at their Hendra home when they were small children.

Jonathan said ‘It’s been fantastic sponsoring Jas and we’re all following her progress in the championships. It’s been great being able to play a part in the career of someone we know so well, and support her in her qualifying events.  She has three opportunities this season, the Bussan Cup in Japan, the European Open Championships in Wales and the European Youth in Spain in September, for which we all wish her the very best of luck’
