A donation of £6,310 has been announced by Hendra Holiday Park, Newquay, for the charity Help for Heroes.
The park support a different charity each year and for during 2015 money was raised for the appeal throughout the season, including a voluntary donation from guests on every booking, raffles, collecting tins and donations.
Janine Hyatt, Director, said ‘We’d like to thank everyone who made a donation to Hendra’s fund raising efforts, especially our guests who make donations year after year, and our staff who always go the extra mile. Even in difficult times everyone is happy to find a small sum for a good cause.’
Hendra’s charity for 2016 is the NSPCC and fund raising is already underway ahead of the park opening on the 21st March in time for Easter.
