The Visit Herefordshire Awards for Excellence took place on September 19th 2017 at The Malvern Theatre. Best of British Park, Poston Mills walked away with the coveted prize of 'Best Touring, Camping and Holiday Park' in Herefordshire.
Owners Wayne and Sarah Jones said, "Once again we are thrilled that our high standards on the park have earned us the title, ‘Best Touring, Camping and Holiday Park’ in Herefordshire.
Along with a Gold David Bellamy rating for over 10 years and past awards for Vist England Excellence in Tourism we are proud to promote the county of Herefordshire the home of beef cattle and cider orchards."
Nestled in the Golden Valley against the borders of Wales, Poston Mill is a good base for exploring on foot, in the car and with their dog friendly facilities (a bronze award winner 2016 for Dog business of the year through Visit England) you can bring all the family.
The local towns of Hay on Wye - town of books, Hereford – home to the world’s largest chained library and The Mappa Mundi are both close by. With the magnificent mountain ranges of the Brecon Beacon, The Black Mountains, and of course The Wye Valley also on the doorstep, there is just so much to do you will need to come back time and again.
If you own a holiday home on Park you could stay as often as you like from March 1st to January 2nd and wander to your hearts content or just sit out and relax enjoying the views by day and the stars by night.
The Mill Restaurant provides morning coffee, lunch and evening meals along with the free WiFi and Poston shop not only supplies your basic food stuffs but local crafts and other odds and ends needed when camping or touring.
