Best of British Parks have just received three awards at the prestigious South West Tourism Awards.
The award ceremony held in Torquay on 1st February aims to promote and reward the very best in the tourism industry. This year’s ceremony attracted finalists from some of the best tourism businesses in the region.
Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year
In the Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year category Best of British parks were winners in both gold and silver.
Polmanter Touring Park in Cornwall did exceptionally well and was awarded gold for the Camping & Caravanning park of the year award.
The park was able to demonstrate the following merits:
Dolbeare Park in Conrnwall also did well by being awarded silver in the same category.
Holiday Park of the Year
Best of British Park, Oakdown Country Holiday Park in Sidmouth was named as the gold award winner for the Holiday Park of the Year category.
Best of British Chairman, Richard Legg said of the award success “It is a wonderful achievement to be awarded in both the Holiday Park of the Year category and the Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year category. The performance of the BoB parks at the 2018 South West Tourism Awards is a testament to the high standard Best of British adheres to."
