St Fagans National History Museum
Cardiff, GlamorganThe museum began its life in 1946, which was followed by the donation of the castle and lands by the Earl of Plymouth. And only shortly after, under the name of the Welsh Folk Museum, the museum was opened, in 1948.
Today, the museum draws people from all around the world and boasts a number of activities, perfect for all ages. The beautiful gardens and woodland provide and excellent place to relax and unwind and learn about nature. There is also the opportunity to observe traditional skills in practice.
