Wander through the collections showcasing boats through the ages as well as a range of nautical memorabilia. From small handcrafted boats and wooden boats favoured by local fisherman to large steam vessels, learn how boats have been adapted through time to meet the needs and requirements of those that use them. Watch boat builders in the on site workshop hone their craft as they continue to build ships using traditional methods.  

Children will love the boat pool where they can race model boats and the lookout tower, which offers panoramic views over Falmouth Harbour through binoculars and telescopes. The tidal zone allows you to venture below sea level and look underwater at the harbour through two windows. If you’re lucky you might get a glimpse of a crab, fish or shrimp!
