This is the second time we have stayed at this touring caravan/motorhome park. It is simply outstanding. The location is perfect, with quick and easy access to the town of Llanidloes by car, where the amenities are plentiful. Refer to Red Kite Touring Park website for full information on facilities here. Having mains water, electricity, drainage and chemical toilet disposal directly on pitch is absolutely great, together with free WiFi via a code. Pitches are spacious. The site is maintained immaculately. The toilet block is great. Dogs are welcome and there are lovely mown walking paths through wildflower meadows, with access to a woodland walk as well. Dogs have their own shower area, located in the toilet block. We gave our lurcher a pamper session. There is a blow dryer there for dogs, if required. Take your own shampoo. There are three ponds on site. A large pond containing carp, a smaller wildlife pond, and a dog pond. We did not use the dog pond as we didn’t realise that dogs were welcome in that particular pond until we were ready to leave the site (our fault for not reading the info.). Ian and Val, who are helping to manage the site, work hard and are doing a brilliant job, and could not be more helpful. It is ‘adults only’ here, which is great. It is very, very peaceful. I was reluctant to leave this site. Simply lovely, with nice views across the valley. Thank you to everyone at Red Kite Touring Park.Janet Jenkins
