I was very pleased with the pitch, well spaced and not at all crowded. The grounds were well kept, as where the shower blocks. The local village of Woodhall Spa is lovely. The staff were a little chilly - which I simple do not get. Having worked in the leisure industry I am always suprised when these kind of people cannot pull a smile out of the bag for a newly arrived guest. Not having visited Bainland for many years we were disappointed at the quality of the site and felt it was not up to the standard of the Best of British. Staff were less than helpful and the general up keep including toilet facilities were less than satisfactory. We shall not be returning. My wife and I visited the park for a short break on the 12/11/006 for four nights on the touring van pitches for the first time and we found the park worthy of its five star rating everthing was first class from the facilities to the staff which includes the friendly staff that keep the site looking good,as an actor said in a film once I will be back. 1 of 1 people found this helpful. My Husband, Daughter, and I have stopped at this park several times now. We have thorough enjoyed every stay. The facilites such as the toilet blocks, showers, sinks are immaculate and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone. There is a disco for the children, places to watch the sports if you like, a bowling green and also a play area and swimming pool. All in all we thought Bainland Country Park was great and will be visiting again in the near future. 1 of 1 people found this helpful. We stayed here last yr and will be going back. Pitches were ample size, facilities were good - a great outdoor area for the dogs to sit with u in the evening and daytime. Did see though that the swimming pool was over crowded at times, shop was well stocked and the staff lovely and friendly. Shower block was lovely and clean and the dish washing area was great too. Can't wait to return! 1 of 1 people found this helpful. We found the staff very helpful, we has assistance on hand to set the caravan on our pitch ( we have since had a motor mover fitted). Other holiday makers were considerate, and even the kids were well behaved ( and this was bank holiday at the end of May). We will certainly go back to Bainland. 1 of 2 people found this helpful. Having said that the facilities were good and the on site shop, bar and restaurant were well stocked and the site was a great base for exploring Lincolnshire and Skegness if your after peace and quiet this is not the site for you - Mark Duffield & Family 3 of 3 people found this helpful.
