We returned just over a week ago from this filthy site - the pitches all flood so beware !! The toilets are disgusting the area they call the chapel should have health warning. One of the days during our stay the main toilet area was only cleaned at 9am and left for the rest of the day.
The previous review stated that there is a new health spa - this is not new and certainly not kept well - we had been there last year and it has gone down hill so much I would not recommend it to anyone.
The fish in the lake are dying and during our weeks stay they pulled at least 5 extemely large Koi out.
Be Warned

We Spent 5 Nights here and loved the place. The entrance is very inviting. We were shown to our pitch which was fantastic. All pitches are hardstanding and ours was at the front over looking the fishing lake. The whole park was imaculate and the kids play area was the best i've seen. There is table tennis and a small games room with a pool table. The only down side were the toilets. they were clean but do need a little updating. but this did'nt spoil anything. There is a new spa area which is a log cabin, inside is a tread mill , exercise bike , stepping excersie thing , a suna ,a jet pool ,and a hot tub. We went in as a family and were really impressed. you can book this for £15 for upto 8 people you get 45 mins and its lovely because you have it all to yourself.
Theres a dog walk in the woods and also around the lake. The kids loved the ducks aswell so have plenty of bread.
We are definetly going back.

The initial entry into the site is pleasant and met the expectations I had from others, sadly this did not go beyond the entry barrier.
The site is quite frankly is in need of some work. the shower block(the chapel area they call it) is a filthy hole that does not apear to be cleaned regularly.
When there 27-29th July a construction team was building cabins and creating such a racket, stillsaw, brick dust everywhere we ended up complaining and then leaving the site until after tea, so much for a quiet relaxing weekend. the site is building at least 10 of the cabins with only 2 built at present. BE WARNED they dont tell you when you book up This review does not allow to put not recommended but I dont. With small children running around the lake/fishing area should be barriered of to protect them. If I had want a holiday on a construction site i would have gone to spain.

Well we have been travelling again in our motorhome. We visited this site for 2 nights and found that although it was out of the normal season the site was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The faciltiies were as we wanted (washing, cleaning and restful). The site was very nicely laid out and the vehicle entry system was a very good idea. However as it was out of the main season this system was going through an overhall and so once we were on site that was it until the morning when we were let out. However had we wanted to go anywere I am sure the staff would have sorted any problem. The fishing lake was being worked on and when the plants have all grown up it will look stunning. Well worth staying at if you are in the area.

Excellent site with very good facilities, the toilets and shower block are kept to a very high standard. Staff are very friendly and there is always someone around for help and advice if you need it. Plenty to do for children and there is a lovely picnic area around the fishing lake.Would highly recommend this park.

By far one of the best parks we have stayed at in 3 years caravanning. Quiet location with glorious views. Good fishing , We found it had plenty of facilities to keep the children happy and was well kept, clean and had very friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone.
And we will be going back. So many thanks to all the staff For making a good friendly Site.
