A truly lovely site. Well laid out and well kept. Staff very helpful. Pitches and amenities all well kept. just come back from a week at this site, wow! what can I say, super friendly, super clean, a credit to the best of british site. will certainly go back again. can't wait to try our next site on the list. We went to Dornafield last year and we were tempted to book again for this year! The park is wonderful. The owners were lovely and I feel that now when we are looking for other sites we compare them to Dornafield and we are definitely going back. SOON I HOPE! I have actually visited Dornafield twice and will hopefully be returning again in 2007. The staff are friendly and helpful, and ensure that the site is kept in immaculate condition every day. The position of the site is great for exploring the region, with lots to do in the local area for when the weather isn't the best. Dornafield is a true example of why BOB is the best guide around. A++++++ My Wife and I first visited Dornafield 4 years ago it was only the second place we visited in our then newly accquired Tourer and I have to say it somewhat spolit us. The site is always spotless, ample pitches the most friendly staff and excellent facilities in a beautiful setting. The only drawback and Dornafield can do nothing about this the final half mile is a rather narrow road but oh boy is it worth it try it! .....100 times YES....... you will be hooked , book a pitch in the buttermeadow, it's so tranquil....... couple or family you will be back time and again ....we have been back every year and....we cant wait to visit again. My Wife and I have visited this wonderful Devon venue every Easter with a touring caravan since 1986 and spent several summer holiday fortnights and visited for at least one week every autumn. We have been caravanners since 1980 and have visited dozens of sites all over the UK. Both my grown up son and daughter and their families are regular Dornafield visiters with their young families.We all can truefully recomend Dornafield and its owners and friendly staff as one of the very best managed sites in the UK and one that sets very high standards and represents fair value for money that cannot be beaten. Even should the weather be adverse there is plenty to see and do in the area and Dornafield always welcomes you back for more.Try it once and you too will get hooked.
