The summer may be over but that doesn't mean there is nothing happening. Events are taking place across Britain including Autumn fairs, music festivals, fabulous food festivals and car shows. Here's a collection of what you can enjoy in the month of September...
Appledore Book Festival
22nd – 30th September, North Devon
A fantastic literary festival with over 70 events across the week. Come along to meet literary legends, celebrities, chefs, screenwriters, poets, musicians, artists and much more. Check out daily schedule and book tickets online.
The Great Bath Feast
23rd September – 8th October, Bath
A 15 day celebration of all the foodie delights that the historic city of Bath has to offer. Discover new flavours and culinary skills at venues across the city. From artisan markets to £10 dinner deals, this event it a great opportunity to get to know some of the independent cafes, restaurants and food producers of the area.

Southampton Boat Show
15th – 24th September, Southampton
This famous boat show returns to Southampton. Take a loot at the hundreds of impressive boats of all shapes and sizes. Get out on the water with plenty of different events and activities available throughout the week.
Autumn Show and Game Fair
30th September & 1st October, Ardingly, West Sussex
Enjoy a day out at a traditional English country show. Have a go at countryside pursuits and treat yourself to some delicious season food and drink from local suppliers. In the ring will be displays including gundog and falconry.
Salute to the 40s
16th & 17th September, Chatham Dockyard
Be transported back to the 1940s at one of Britain’s biggest vintage festivals. Located at The Historic Dockyard there will be live music, dancing, military displays, competitions and shopping.
International Classic Car Show
16th & 17th September, Isle of Wight
A well-loved, 2 day classic car event with vehicles from all over the UK and further afield travelling to the Isle of Wight to exhibit. Saturday’s show is located on Newport Quay and on Sunday the cars will be displayed along Ryde Esplanade.

Oxford Chamber Music Festival
27th September – 1st October
Founded in 2000, this festival is a world-class gathering of musicians in the historic city of Oxford. Daily concerts create a special atmosphere that celebrates this social form of music.

A three day music festival for music lovers of all ages. Septemberfest is a new festival for 2017, with Nathan Dawe, Razorlight and Five topping the line up and fun attractions for all the family.
Malvern Autumn Show
23rd – 24th September, Three Counties Showground
A wholesome weekend of home-grown family fun, headed up by the RHS Flower Show. Expect plenty of plants, veg, cookery demonstrations and celebrity appearances.
Malvern Caravan Show
29th September - 1st October, Three Counties Showground
Browse an extensive selection of exhibitors and new and used caravans, motorhomes and accessories. Get ready for the 2018 holiday season and bring along the family for a fun day out.

Tour De Norfolk
The second annual Tour De Norfolk is a cycling sportive event with the aim of raising money for the Big C cancer charity. With four different length routes to choose from, there’s no excuse not to get on your bike!
