Poston Mill Park in Herefordshire swept the board winning two Gold awards at the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism awards held at the ICC in Birmingham.
Poston Mill retained their Gold Caravan Park of the year category beating off fierce competition within the Heart of England. Owner Wayne Jones said that there are many parks in our area, all of a great standard, to win this award for the second year running is a great honour and a big thank you to all the team and customers who buy into our dream of offering the ultimate experience in caravan holidaying.The judges said that Poston Mill was managed to the highest standard and did not stand still.
The second Gold award that Poston Mill won was in the category of Sustainable Tourism.This is a very hot topic Sarah Jones commented. We have to endeavour to become more sustainable, and to win this award in an industry that is not always associated with sustainability is our dream come true. The judges commented that Poston Mill was a company that adopted Best Practice in almost all of its activities.

Dornafield Wins Best In UK Award |

 Dornafield Caravan and Camping Park near Ipplepen has been voted Best Overall Winner in the "Practical Caravan" Top 100 Parks awards for 2008.
At the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show held at Birmingham's NEC the Dewhirst family were presented with this prestigious award by Nigel Donnelly, Editor of Practical Caravan, the leading magazine for caravanners.
Dornafield has for many years featured in the Top 100 sites, but this is the first year they have been not only regional winner, but also overall winner. Devon is by far the most difficult region to win as there are more nominations for sites in the county than anywhere else in the UK, reflecting the very high standard of caravan facilities in the area.
 The award is particularly welcome as it is the only one of its kind determined by readers' votes and proves that the Dewhirsts have the winning formula for happy caravan holidays - not only a beautiful site with superb loos and showers but friendly and helpful staff who make all their guests feel at home.
