Best of British parks have dominated the South West Tourism Excellence Awards, as Trethem Mill Touring Park at St Just in Roseland, Cornwall, Dornafield at Newton Abbot, Devon and Woodovis Park at Tavistock, Devon make up the three winners in the Holiday Park of the Year category. The three parks are absolutely delighted to receive such an accolade and the Best of British Touring & Holiday Parks Group is proud to have them in membership. Congratulations are also due to another Best of British park, Dolbeare at Saltash, Cornwall,which reached the finalist stage. Alistair Handyside, Chairman of South West Tourism, said "Winning at the regional awards is a great achievement for any business, especially so in these economic times. These businesses have shown that customer care, staff training and continued investment have not faltered but have grown and they are committed to exceeding visitor expectations". The Awards ceremony is being held on 23rd November at the Saunton Sands Hotel, Devon, when the three parks will find out if they have won the Gold or Silver Award. |
