Located amid rolling green farmland with stunning views of the sea at Bude Bay, Wooda Farm enjoys a delightful setting that immediately puts you in the holiday mood. And while it offers holiday park facilities such as as a club house, tennis and mini golf, it has taken care to hold onto its farm roots, with tractor rides and a small collection of farm animals on offer to give children a taste of the country. The touring area is very neatly set out, with large pitches arranged in rows over several different areas and divided by mature hedges. This means that while Wooda Farm is a fairly large park, there’s always a friendly, intimate feel to your own area.
Pick of the bunch must be the hardstanding pitches and the handful of grass ones, which have mature hedges between and behind them for a real sense of privacy and shelter from sea winds. All of the pitches are beautifully maintained, and in summer hydrangea bushes and flowerbeds add a splash of colour.
Of course, the other big draw at Wooda Farm is the number of activities for all the family, including fishing and even clay pigeon shooting. And it’s nice to see that these are presented in
a way that’s sympathetic to the peaceful, rural setting.
The whole site has a friendly atmosphere that makes it ideal for families. There are a number of static caravans here, but these are in a separate area so they certainly don’t detract from the feeling that this is a delightful site for tourers.

As the name implies, this is a farm park, though there is nothing rustic about it. The well-kept site has attractive grounds, and glorious views of the countryside and the sea. The touring areas are spacious and private, thanks to hedge perimeters.
The children’s play area is large, with an imaginatively designed apparatus, and there is a separate area where dogs can be exercised. The family bathroom is excellent, and costs £1 per day.
The main farm is a few minutes’ walk along the private lane. Children are welcomed, so they can learn about
the animals. From the farm there are
signposted walks through the woodland.
Several barns of the original farm have been converted to provide leisure facilities such as the attractive restaurant and bar. Activities such as archery, clay pigeon shooting, and tractor and trailer rides, are available, depending on season.
This is a family site that appeals to all ages and types: those who want a quiet holiday can relax; those who want activities are spoilt for choice. If you want to explore the countryside you’re in the right place, and if you want to be by the sea, the glorious sandy beaches of Bude are only minutes away.

What makes Wooda Farm special is that it’s still a farm at heart, and sits in 22 acres of prime Cornish farmland. You’ll never be bored here, and the site owners boast that you won’t find a noisy nightclub anywhere near it. Much of the credit for its peaceful nature goes to the Colwill family, who own and run the park.

Children love Wooda Farm. The site has a farm museum and farm animals which kids are welcome to feed at appropriate times. Once they’ve met the animals, tractor and trailer rides give everyone a chance to see the farm and countryside. For older children and adults, other attractions include archery and clay-pigeon shooting tuition, depending on demand and season.

There’s fine walking country right on the doorstep, especially the coastal walks, beaches, or hills and downs. The site is just two miles from the surfing beaches at Bude, where you can shop for any provisions not sold at the site’s store, or take a look at the Bude Canal, which dates from 1774.

The site has 244 pitches in four fields, so there’s plenty of space. Most pitches are level, but those that aren’t are only on shallow grassy slopes. Electricity is rated at 10A on 144 of the pitches. A further 98 pitches are fully serviced, all on hardstandings, with electricity, and points for fresh and waste water.
