Close to both the picturesque Cotswolds and historic Oxford, this site is popular with people who want to explore Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. A bus will take you into Oxford if you want to leave the car behind. The large pitches are well located around the central washroom, washing-up and laundry facilities. There’s plenty to do on site. It has a leisure centre with indoor pools and designated play areas for children up to five years old and from five to 12 years old. It also has a small putting green and a shop.

Situated within a mile of the River Thames and close to both the Cotswolds and the historic city of Oxford, Lincoln Farm Park is perfect for families seeking an active break and those who simply want a bit of peace and quiet. The site’s 90 pitches are spread across its nine acres of landscaped farmland, which allows for wide spacing so that couples can be kept separate from families.
An air of tranquility will greet you from the moment you
arrive at the park’s smart reception building, which is surrounded by established trees and mature shrubs, and doubles as a well-stocked mini market. What’s more, you are guaranteed a warm welcome from the friendly staff.
The immaculately presented washblocks are all heated, and piped music will accompany your ablutions. Self-contained shower cubicles with enclosed washbasins and spacious dressing areas give an almost domestic feel. The food preparation area is just as good, with microwaves provided for the use of caravanners.
The facilities on offer are second-to-none. The leisure centre has a choice of two indoor pools, with good lighting and pinewood panelling to create a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a Jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna. Use of these facilities usually costs extra, but free swimming sessions take place twice a day. And outside of these times the facilities can be privately booked by the hour for an extra charge. The superb standard of these facilities easily justifies the modest fees – just be sure you make any bookings well in advance.

Lincoln Farm Park is situated within a mile of the River Thames and close to the Cotswolds. It is perfect for families and those seeking peace and quiet. The site’s 90 pitches are spread across 8.5 acres of landscaped park, which allows for wide spacing between outfits and privacy.
The washrooms are immaculate and spacious, and contain all the facilities you could ever need, including family bathrooms with facilities for babies to be strapped safely into seats while mums or dads perform their own ablutions. A nice touch is one pitch that has its own gate immediately adjacent to the disabled toilets; another is the array of colourful floral baskets that hang from all the buildings.
Families will love the two indoor, heated swimming pools with separate children’s pools. They are in a complex that also includes a fitness suite, saunas, steam room and spa pools – all of which can be hired by the hour.
Twenty-two ‘super pitches’ come with electric points, sewage and waste disposal, and TV hook-up. Another handy facility is a covered area for campers, which contains a microwave, fridge/freezer, hot water for washing up and two four-seat picnic tables.
The site is conveniently located for a trip to Oxford, with the university’s colleges, Bodleian Library, Ashmolean Museum, theatre and musical events, including the Summer Proms.
No matter what you’re looking for in a caravan park, there are armloads of things to do here, both on-site and off.

Practical Motorhome Independent Site Reviews.
Situated within a mile of the River Thames, and close to the Cotswolds and the city of Oxford, Lincoln Farm Park has everything you could wish for, whether you want fun for the family or some peace and quiet.
With only 90 pitches (small by commercial site standards), it covers a considerable acreage, allowing for wide spacing between outfits. Pitches are arranged in groups of between two and seven, so that friends can meet and enjoy being together in their own private areas. As the site is so spacious, it is possible to get away from the noise of children, if you wish, in a quiet spot.
The facilities are immaculate, and even though the visit took place at the very end of the season, it could have been at the beginning, judging by the condition of everything from the toilets to the play areas and tent pitches. The immaculate, spacious toilets contained every facility one could wish for, including family bathrooms and provision for babies to be strapped safely into seats while mums, or dads, performed their ablutions. Colourful floral baskets hang from the ceiling.
A thoughtful touch (adjacent to the disabled toilet) is a pitch with its own gate. This can be booked as necessary. A striking feature is the site complex, with two well-heated indoor swimming pools and separate, but adjacent, children’s pools. The complex also includes a fitness suite, saunas, steam room and spa pools, all of which can be hired by the hour.
There are 22 super pitches with electric points, sewage and waste disposal, and TV hook-up, and there is even a covered area available for tent occupiers containing microwave, fridge/freezer, hot water for washing up and two four-seat picnic tables.
No matter what you might want from a campsite, it is difficult to imagine that you won’t be able to find it in Lincoln Farm Park.

Practical Caravans Top 100 Parks Awards 2003
With the dreaming spires of Oxford to the east and the tranquil quaintness of the Cotswolds to the north-west, Lincoln Farm Park couldn’t be better situated for a well-earned caravanning break. The facilities are ideal. All pitches are sheltered and set on Cotswold stone chippings, with separate areas of grass for picnics. Everyone is given plenty of room and you can even opt for a luxury hook-up, which offers mains drainage, piped water, 16A power and satellite TV. On some pitches, a wooden picnic table is also provided as an extra.
Shower and bath time is a treat, too. Hot water runs all the time and the toilets are spotless. You can also enjoy the luxury of a hot bath in one of the two family bathrooms by paying a £10 deposit. Other five-star facilities include two swimming pools, saunas and whirlpool baths, a steam room, sun bed and multi-gym. These can be reserved for private hire by the hour, or you can simply join the public sessions.
There is a fenced adventure play area with a rubber-chipping base for safety. There’s also a giant chess and draughts board, a nine-hole putting green and a games field which are all well used and free of charge. A token-operated laundry room with free iron hire, covered washing up sinks, microwaves, freezers and a battery charging room are also on-site. The whole camp is also well-lit.
The only thing Lincoln Farm doesn’t have is a bar or clubhouse. But then Oxford is down the road and the nearest pub is a two-minute walk away.
