Stayed at Oxon Hall, Shrewsbury in July. Thought we might have a problem with the sie of our tent (8x4.5metres pitching area)but were given a site which was more than adequate. Site overall was clean and well laid out with no sense of overcrowding. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Toilet facilities, showers and wash basins excellent. Park and ride nearby added bonus. One small niggle in that all but two of the shower cubicles were closed off during most of our stay.

Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks Award 2008
To visit nearby Shrewsbury, leave your car on site and go to the Park and Ride bus stop
just outside the site entrance. It is convenient in other ways, too, by offering a shop
stocked with groceries and accessories,
a centrally heated washblock, a launderette and a play area. It is also a short walk from pubs and restaurants. Despite this, Oxon Hall
maintains its rural character; you may find yourself sharing your pitch with wild ducks and
rabbits. Every pitch is spacious and has electric hook-up, and many also have water and TV aerial points.

Practical Motorhome Snail Trail recommended park Dec 2006
As you enter this large site you immediately feel safe because of the code-operated barriers. Another striking feature is the attractive, landscaped setting five-minutes’ walk from the road. There is plenty of greenery around the pitches and a pretty little pond.
The facilities are commendable. Spotless, modern, toilet facilities include access for the disabled and there are roomy, free showers. Some sinks are even cordoned off by shower curtains for privacy.
One slight drawback is the £5 deposit for a key to the toilet/shower facilities – some visitors found this an inconvenience.
The site seems adult orientated, with its adult-only section and insistence that children don’t ride scooters, use roller blades or roller skates. Ball games and kites are only allowed in the children’s play area.
The park’s location is fantastic: there’s a park-and-ride service just around the corner from the site. From there, Shrewsbury is only ten minutes away.
